Our model airplanes are nearing completion. Thanks once again to Cooke Aquaculture for the generous grant which allowed us to purchase these sets. The pupils have enjoyed the experience, and it has been a productive and creative way to end Christmas term 2021. Thanks to Dr James Hill for ordering the sets, and applying for the grant.

Shelter making, fire lighting, whittling stick men and hot chocolate making on a crisp winter's day in Euan's wood. The whole nursery and pre-school session was spent outside! Much fun was had by all. Mischief has been happening in the Westray School this week. Mr Hawkin's came to Westray on Tuesday to find his office had turned into Santa's Grotto. There was nearly nothing left unwrapped. Post-It notes, pens, mugs, pictures on the wall...Nothing was safe from the wrapping paper. It was Christmas lunch day at Westray Junior High today. Primary Pupils sparkled in Christmas attire or party clothing. Secondary pupils were given the choice to come dressed up as a theme. |
